THIS SKIP HOIST IS DESIGNED TO LIFT 5.5 TONNES OF MATERIAL

The main parts of the ship hoist are the steel frame, container, winches, blocks and steel cables.

The container has a volume of 5.7m³ (water volume) and is equipped with 30mm rubber wear plates.

Skip Hoisten is equipped with two 6-tonne winches. During the operation, the container is lifted to a height of 7.5 metres where it is emptied.

The container has four wheels that run in four internal rails installed in a stationary frame.

Calculated speed is 0-14 m/min. The winches are mounted on the floor, while the blocks are mounted on top of the steel structure. To prevent contact between the front loader and the container, a steel barrier and wheel stops are mounted in front of the skip hoist. Loading can only take place when the container is in the lower position.

Front loader operator can drive in and fill material into the container.

The Skip Hoist is started by remote control and the winches drive the container to the top and unload the material for the further process. After 6 seconds, the container is returned to its starting position. At that moment, the light curtain is switched off and the traffic light changes to green, and the front loader operator can once again fill material into the container and the process starts again.
