With more than 50 years of experience in bulk handling, Tratec Solutions has developed belt conveyors of very high quality in terms of both performance and service life.
Shuttle conveyors are of the truss or channel type and mounted on a trolley with wheels running on rails. They can be equipped with their own drive motor that enables them to travel along the rails in both directions. The movement can be fully automated or controlled by an operator. The conveyors can be built reversible, which allows for the transport of material to both ends of the conveyor. They are often used to fill bulk material into silos that are installed in a row.
SHUTTLE CONVEYORS:

- The drums have diameters up to 400 mm.
- The drive drum is rubberised and equipped with well-dimensioned foot bearings for heavy loads.
- The return drum is equipped with well-dimensioned bearings and the shaft is attached to manual tightening mechanisms.
- The carrier rollers have diameters up to 133 mm, are self-lubricating and have bearings with sealed gaskets.
- Cushioning elements and shock elements can be supplied in loading zones.
- Rubber belt quality is determined by the mass to be transported.
- The primary and secondary scrapers are mounted on the drive drum, while the plough scraper is mounted on the return belt in front of the turning drum.

- The loading box is mounted in the loading zone. It is equipped with a rubber seal against the belt to avoid spillage and Hardox wear plates for better wear resistance.
- Additional equipment: Rails, walkways, service platforms, roof, sidewalls, emergency stop system, speed guard, and skew guard. The conveyor can be delivered enclosed to prevent dust emissions to the surroundings and it will then be weather protected.
- Surface treatment: Main parts sandblasted, primed and painted according to Tratec Solution standard. Bolts, brackets and smaller parts are galvanised.
- Trolley equipped with a motor with brake and encoder option for accurate positioning.
