High-performance scrapers keep belts clean, reduce spillage on the underside of the belt, making the conveyor safer and more productive. Martin Engineering offers scrapers to suit all belt sizes and speeds, regardless of industry and material type. They also offer scrapers that work in the most challenging environments, and on conveyor systems where there is minimal space around the drive drum.
Conveyor Belt Cleaners brochure
Primary belt cleaners
The coarse scraper is designed to thoroughly clean bulk material from conveyor belts, and is suitable for belts up to 3000mm in width, and speeds up to 10m/s.
The Martin QC1-HD coarse scraper is a patented new development in scraper technology, designed to help your production achieve a higher level of productivity while reducing costs.

The cleanscraper is installed at an angle above the drive drum, requiring minimal space for installation. Equipped with tungsten carbide tips and using minimal belt pressure, it can be pressurised on belts with a mechanical splice, making it the most versatile scraper on the market.

Cleanscrape Technical Data Sheet
The brush cleaner is particularly suited to removing fine material from regular belts, carrier belts and chevron belts. The brush uses 12 brush strips to shape the brush so that it removes moist material that will plug on other brushes.

Secondary belt cleaners
The Martin fine scraper is installed at the point where the belt leaves the drive drum to remove residual material left on the belt by the coarse scraper. The fine scraper is typically mounted as close as possible to the coarse scraper, so that the material it removes follows the main material flow.
Like the coarse scraper, the fine scrapers are highly durable and efficient, and you can choose between models designed for high-speed belts and different widths.
