Typhoon Air Cannon

The Martin® Typhoon Air Cannon features hybrid valve technology that delivers more power, uses less air and simplifies maintenance in challenging applications with limited budgets.

Features and benefits:

Provides more power output with less air consumption than a traditional XHV Air Cannon.
Requires only one air line to fill the tank and trigger the valve.
The air cannon assembly has a rigid steel mounting and can withstand some vibration.
The entire valve assembly can be removed in a single step and replaced within minutes, working from one side of the tank. There is no need to remove the tank from the container for servicing.
Negative pressure firing provides efficient performance in challenging applications with limited budgets.

Hurricane Air Cannon

The Martin® Hurricane Air Cannon improves the flow of bulk materials and prevents downtime due to discharge blockages and build-up. Hurricane features a new valve technology that delivers more power, uses less air and simplifies installation and maintenance.

Features and benefits:

Maximum discharge force from high-speed outlet at half the air volume, for highly efficient discharge and reduced operating costs.
Designed for easy maintenance. The entire valve assembly can be removed in a single step, working from one side of the tank. It can be replaced within minutes to keep the process running. There is no need to remove the tank from the container for servicing.
Suitable for smaller spaces. More power from less air allows the use of a smaller air tank.
Fires in response to a positive airflow sent by a solenoid valve, eliminating the risk of accidental discharge.
Positive acting valve allows the control valve to be positioned as far as 60 m from the tank, keeping solenoid valves away from harsh conditions and areas that are difficult to operate.

The SMART™ Series Nozzle and its innovative design makes it possible to use air guns to achieve optimum material flow without all the hassle that usually comes with maintaining them.

Innovative placement of air cannons - The Y-shaped nozzle mounting allows the air cannon and the nozzle to be installed independently of each other, which means that the nozzle can be reached without removing the air cannon.

Optimal material flow - The nozzle tip loosens the material over a large cleaning area, so more material doesn't clump or stick to inner walls.

Cost savings - The nozzle provides excellent performance without damaging refractory materials. What's more, it can be inspected or replaced without shutting down operations.

Simple replacement - A permanently installed flange, customised to the nozzle assembly, makes replacement, maintenance and cleaning easy.
