We had a very strong year in 2022, with positive growth in all our business areas.
"Norwegian industry is benefiting from the weak Norwegian krone, and there has been a willingness to invest that we haven't seen for many years," says CEO Bent-Ståle Johansen.
In addition to major players in the offshore industry, we have major agreements with Avinor, Yara and Kristiansand Municipality, among others.
After the pandemic, we have seen that the industry is now, to a greater extent, choosing Norwegian suppliers.
The need for oil and especially gas, following the sanctions against Russia, has contributed to very high energy prices, which in turn is positive for activities in the industry, and which creates a number of positive ripple effects in Norway. "The high level of activity in the oil industry has resulted in a strong aftermarket and upgrade market for us in Tratec.
The offshore market accounts for 30 per cent of our sales, and after growth of 18.3 per cent last year, the group's total operating income is NOK 904.5 million.
Profits are used to invest in the further growth of Tratec through strategic acquisitions.
"We're on course to reach the billion mark this year, if growth is as we anticipate," says CFO Geir Vestbø.

In addition to positive external growth in the market, we have also grown internally. We have expanded with four branches outside southern Norway, in Stavanger, Trondheim, Lillestrøm and Grenland.
