The Molde Airport delivery is one of many refurbishments Tratec Solutions will deliver to airports across Norway during 2023 and 2024.

The remodelling is taking place as a result of new EU requirements for X-ray machines in baggage handling systems. The new machines require more space than the old machines, which can be a challenge because the buildings are often too small to simply install the machine in the existing facility.

That's why we create new and smart solutions at all the airports that need it, so that the conversion is as optimal as possible for the individual airport.

At Molde Airport, check-in is therefore being moved from one side of the room to the opposite side. A new line will also be created that connects to the old facility.

We are utilising as much as we can of the existing facility at the airport, so that the new solution is both more favourable financially and sustainable for the customer.
