On 23 December 2022, Tratec Solutions entered into an agreement to purchase the control system BRAINS (Baggage Routing And Information System) and activities within automated logistics and baggage handling from Sensec Solutions AS. The agreement also includes the contract for the delivery of BRAINS and automation to Avinor at Tromsø Airport.

Martin Haga, Operations Manager at Tratec Solutions, says the following about the acquisition: «It is a strength for us to now be able to offer a complete solution and focus on advanced automation solutions as one company, after several years as partners with Sensec.».

Personnel involved in automation and BRAINS, including the CEO of Sensec Solutions AS Bård Lund, will also transfer to Tratec Solutions in connection with the acquisition.
