Northern Vestfold for Tratec Norcon consists of 3 parts:
- Framework agreement with SVV for programming of top system (SCADA) and final test against SRO supplier.
- SRO: PLC, network and programming. This was advertised on Doffin and we have signed a contract with SVV.
- Camera and AID. This delivery goes to One Nordic.
The Framework Agreement and SRO part of the project consisted of the delivery of sign control cabinets, network equipment and PLCs for controlling new variable speed limit signs along the E18 motorway in northern Vestfold.
This project is ongoing and will not be finalised until December 2017. The project consists of six double tunnels.
Sign control is implemented in WinCC OA. Part of the project also includes interfacing with existing DCSs in some of the tunnels on the route.
The project with the Framework Agreement and the SRO part consists of the following:
- Delivery of 26 new cabinets for sign management
- Delivery of a central PLC (Allen Bradley, ControlLogix) for controlling the signs, as well as interfacing with existing equipment in tunnels.
- Configuration of OPC server
- Preparation of screenshots on county server in Vestfold
- Integration with servers on VTS
- Preparation of traffic plans for signage management
- Test and commissioning of new system against VTS
