TRATEC Norcon is a leading technology company within automation, control systems, and the digitalisation of industrial processes. For more than 40 years, the company has developed solutions that contribute to increased efficiency, safety, and sustainability within industry, process, water and wastewater, logistics, transport, and offshore. The company has around 100 employees distributed across Vennesla, Farsund, Oslo, and Trondheim.

We are now looking for a Head of Industry for our head office in Vennesla. The role entails overall responsibility for leadership, development and results in a department consisting of skilled project managers and dedicated project engineers. You will be responsible for further developing people, competence, project execution and profitability, while contributing actively to the company's continued growth and development

Responsibilities and main tasks

You will be given overall responsibility for leading, developing and strengthening the Industrial Department both operationally, organisationally and commercially!

Current tasks and areas:

Lead and further develop the industrial department with profit and loss, budget and personnel responsibilities.
Ensure profitable project execution through good follow-up of project economics, progress, quality and risk.
Building strong teams with a focus on skills development, recruitment and staff wellbeing.
Ensure effective resource and capacity planning across projects and deliverables.
Develop customer relationships and contribute actively to market and tender work together with our sales resources.
Contribute to the strategic development of the department's market position, service offering and long-term growth.

These are the qualifications we are looking for

Management experience with P&L and personnel responsibility, preferably from a technical environment.
Good understanding of project operations and project financial monitoring.
Experience from technology companies, automation, industry, or other project-based technical operations.
Higher relevant education.
