Christiansholm Fortress<\/b> in Kristiansand is one of the city's most iconic cultural monuments. The building dates back to the 17th century and today serves as an arena for art, cultural events and various events.<\/p>\n
When the fortress's lighting was to be upgraded, this placed special demands on both\u00a0aesthetics<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0technical customisation.<\/b><\/p>\n
Hos\u00a0Tratec<\/b>\u00a0Teknikken<\/b>\u00a0we are proud to work closely with\u00a0Light components AS<\/a> <\/b>and\u00a0Kristiansand municipality<\/a><\/b>\u00a0about delivering a lighting solution that both honours the historical expression and provides flexibility for modern use.<\/p>\n Christiansholm Fortress has a distinctive architecture with a rounded shape and robust vaulted ceilings - something that challenges standard lighting solutions. To create a solution that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing, a customised lighting configuration was developed specifically for this space.<\/p>\n The solution consists of two focussed light rings that follow the shape of the room:<\/p>\n These rings are integrated into the ceiling zone so that the light is distributed evenly and comfortably without the luminaires dominating the visual impression.
