Our boilers can be used with various forms of energy supplied such as electrical energy, biogas, propane, butane, bio oils, oil, biomass, hot liquids and hot exhaust gases.

A WHRU is an energy recovery heat exchanger that transfers heat from high temperature process outputs to another part of the process.
With our patented WHRU solutions heat from the exhaust emitted from gas turbines can be recovered. Thus, the thermal efficiency of the gas turbine can be increased from 33 percent to around 70 percent.
The result is less fuel consumption and lower emissions of CO2 and NOx.
The WHRUs from Tratec Halvorsen are pre-assembled, modulated and can be installed on site.
The energy captured by the WHRU can be used for a variety of heating processes, such as heating oil, water, water and glycol for processing of oil and gas, and gas regeneration.

We can supply pressure tanks up to 120 tonnes, with a maximum length of 20 meters and a diameter of six meters. Tratec Halvorsen specializes in materials such as SS316, 22Cr Duplex, 25Cr Duplex, 6Mo and titanium and carbon steel.
The pressure tanks are CE marked and certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EN 3834-2 and EN 1090-2. They can be designed according to standards such as NS-EN 13445, PD5500 and ASME.

Water management is an important element in oil and gas production. We have delivered advanced water treatment systems to several platforms in the North Sea, including Troll C and Martin Linge.
In the summer of 2019 our first mobile water plant was transported to the Heimdal field. This container-based process module generates oxygen-free fresh water that cleans out salt from oil, and allows late-phase oil wells to be emptied faster.
Our systems are delivered in collaboration with Veolia Water, a world leader in this technology.
